A bigfoot hoax went wrong when a Montana man who pretended to be bigfoot was run over by teen drivers on Sunday night.

Randy Lee Tenley, who reportedly dressed in a "Ghillie suit" to provoke a bigfoot sighting, was standing in the right-hand lane of Highway 93 in Kalispell when he was hit by a car driven by a 15-year-old girl. Another car swerved and a third car, which reportedly had a 17-year-old female driver, ran him over.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Jim Schneider told Daily Inter Lake: "He was trying to make people think he was Sasquatch so people would call in a Sasquatch sighting. You can’t make it up. I haven’t seen or heard of anything like this before. Obviously, his suit made it difficult for people to see him."

The military-style "Ghillie suit" worn by Tenley was a full-body suit made of strips of camouflage fabric, making it hard for anyone to spot him.

Alcohol "may have been a factor," in the incident, according to Schneider.

Bill Cosby Dead?

Comedian and actor Bill Cosby is dead according to a phony Facebook page that was created on Sunday, August 26, 2012.

The page, "R.I.P Bill Cosby," has amassed over 240,000 likes as of posting time.

"R.I.P Bill Cosby. He has heart attack, guys, he's really gone," reads a post on the page.

Another post reads, "He's gone, but he remains alive in our hearts. R.I.P."

Fortunately, the 73-year-old entertainer is very much alive and well.

It is not the first time that Bill Cosby became a victim of death hoax. In August 2010 "Bill Cosby Died" made it to the top trending topics on microblogging site Twitter.

Among the celebrities who have fallen victims to social media death hoaxes were Demi Moore, Usher, Michel J. Fox, Justin Bieber, Jackie Chan, Jon Bon Jovi, David Guetta, Lady Gaga, and Cher.

Painan, Sumbar (ANTARA News) - Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Pesisir Selatan, Sumatera Barat mengimbau masyarakat agar mewaspadai ancaman penyakit demam berdarah dengue (DBD) menyusul banyaknya warga yang terjangkit penyakit tersebut tahun ini. "Masyarakat agar waspada terhadap ancaman DBD pada cuaca ekstrem ini, karena penyakit itu tidak saja berjangkit akibat kurangnya pola hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) tetapi juga karena faktor cuaca," kata Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Pesisir Selatan Syahrizal Antoni di Painan, Selasa. Sepanjang tahun ini penyakit yang berasal dari gigitan nyamuk Aedes Aegypti itu sudah menjangkiti 386 warga masyarakat di kabupaten itu. Seorang penderita meninggal dunia setelah sempat dirawat di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) M Zein Painan karena terlambat dibawa ke rumah sakit dan beberapa pasien DBD lainnya harus mendapat perawatan intensif. Hingga kini tiga warga yang dinyatakan positif terjangkit DBD masih dirawat di RSUD M Zein Painan sejak beberapa hari lalu. Dari 386 warga yang terjangkit DBD sejak Januari 2012 sebanyak 39 orang tercatat masih berusia di bawah lima tahun, 347 orang lainnya di atas enam tahun. Jika dibandingkan tahun lalu, jumlah kasus DBD di kabupaten itu tercatat sebanyak 620 kasus, dimana lima di antaranya meninggal dunia. "Jumlah penderita tahun ini diprediksi bisa menyamai angka tahun lalu jika masyarakat tidak mewaspadai ancaman penyakit itu pada cuaca ekstrem yang terjadi seperti saat ini," kata dia. Untuk mengantisipasi bertambahnya penderita penyakit tersebut, pemkab melalui Dinas Kesehatan setempat telah menurunkan petugas ke lapangan untuk melakukan pemantauan dan pengasapan (penyemprotan) di tempat-tempat yang dianggap rawan bersarang nyamuk penyebar DBD itu. Tidak itu saja, petugas terus dituntut untuk meningkatkan pencegahan dengan melakukan berbagai kegiatan seperti sosialisasi termasuk kesiapsiagaan di Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat (Puskemas), Pustu dan Pusat Kesehatan Nagari (Puskesri).
