Like 30 Days Only Quicker.

So there's a 30 day photo challenge going around on Facebook. It gives you something to post a photo about every day for a month.

I'm pretty certain you're supposed to photograph something yourself. And probably not use words. And limit it to one photo a day.

Minus those key ingredients, this is exactly the same. I tried to use mostly pictures I have but I was forced to google a couple. Here goes nothing...

A picture of yourself with 15 facts.

  1. This picture is from a few years ago when Emily and I danced on stage with Abandon Kansas. I also hijacked a drum stick and helped drum. It was awesome.
  2. I love mustaches.
  3. Red heads fascinate me.
  4. My church is awesome. If you're not at Hingepoint on Sundays that is a bummer for you.
  5. I love you. For reals, I do.
  6. Trapped in a Closet is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen in my whole entire life.
  7. I'm obsessed with all things Little Mermaid.
  8. Whale Wars is my favorite part of summer.
  9. I watch far more Degrassi than any adult ever should.
  10. I can't dance. It breaks my heart I can't rump shake the way I desire.
  11. I have a serious diet soda addiction. I'm trying to quit. I can't.
  12. I collect ugly figurines.
  13. Making new friends is my fave.
  14. I will never decline an invitation to watch Elf, Pretty Woman, the aforementioned Trapped in a Closet, The Big Lebowski, or any documentary. I will, however, geek out with excitement.
  15. I'm a huge Adam Carolla fan. It's my guiltiest of guilty pleasures.
A picture of you and the person you have been close with for a while.

Meg. She's amazing. This a picture of us hugging a faux ficus.

A picture of the cast from your favorite show.
30 Rock. Best ever. I want to love like Kenneth Parcell.

A picture of a habit you wish you didn't have.
I chapstick like it's going out of style.

A picture of your favorite memory.
Volkslauf. I spent an entire year training with my best friends and I did some stuff I never thought I could and I loved it more than I ever thought possible. This is me! I still can't believe I did it.

A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.
Kelly Cutrone. So I could know what it feels like to be 100% b.a.

A picture of your most treasured item.
I can't think of any tangible item I treasure. But I have Jesus in my heart. That's probably my greatest treasure.

A picture that makes you laugh.

Tell me this picture isn't funny. Unicorns, baby reflections, hillbilly tuxedo. It's all great.

Also great...Diane from Fat Camp. Fat Camp in and of itself is amazing. I have bootleg dvd's. But this picture is like a hug from Jesus. Look how happy she is she didn't have to participate this day. And her ability to hold a phone with the back of her hand never ceases to impress me. This is just a still. You can only imagine how awesome she is in real time rocking out to "Sweet Home Alabama" and making up her own lyrics. It's divine.

A picture of the person that has gotten you through the most.
Bevvers. I love her. You'll notice Bev is flying solo in this picture. That's because for some freakish reason my best friend and I don't have a photo together. Not a one. I swear she's real though.

A picture of the person you do the most messed up things with.
Mike and Luke. They bring out the South Park loving, ill-mannered, junior high boy inside of me.
See. But I love them for it.

A picture of something you hate.
The Church of Oprah.

A picture of something you love.
BFF Shoes. Do you have a home-made pair of bejeweled glitter crocs? I didn't think so.

A picture of your favorite band/artist.
This would be The Format. I caught them shortly before they broke up. Great show. The Format, Steel Train, Limbeck, Honorary Title, Reuben's Accomplice, and a little Mike Birbiglia to mix it up.
Meg, Les, and I enjoyed ourselves. Minus the sea of emos. Shortly after this photo was taken we met Stephanie. A Sagittarius who took a bite out of my apple (That is not a metaphor...I was literally eating an apple in a nightclub.), offered me some of her booze in exchange, and then proceeded to make out with another girl.
I'm pretty much a huge fan of anything Nate Ruess. Have you heard this kid sing?

I can't forget Coheed and Cambria. This is Claudio Sanchez playing the guitar with his teeth when I saw him in San Diego last August.

A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.
My sister.

A picture of something you want to do before you die.
Make money making people laugh.

A picture of someone who inspires you.
Tina Fey. Funny, smart, pretty.

A picture of someone who made a huge impact on your life recently.
So Facebook doesn't let you steal pictures anymore. Rude. But this would be Aimee. I'm about a thousand percent certain I would have quit my job, gotten fired, or jumped off the escalator by now if it weren't for her. My best work friend. Love her.

A picture of your biggest insecurity.
I used to be super embarrassed by my hair. It's still not my favorite. But in high school I used to straighten it twice every morning. I was afraid people would make fun of me because it was so big. Now I embrace it. The bigger the hair the closer to heaven.

A picture of you when you were little.
I was so pissed I had to wear that t-shirt. Also before I realized that wigs and headbands are two different things.

A picture of somewhere you'd love to travel.
Canada! The land of all things awesome.

A picture of something you wish you could forget.
September 18, 2004. This day sucked.

A picture of something you wish you were better at.
I don't right two good. I'm working on it though.

A picture of your favorite book.
I couldn't pick a favorite so I just picked my current reading. Jay-Z's "Decoded". I'm loving it. His story is great but the book is visually fascinating too. Dig it. Thanks for the Christmas present, Hannah.

A picture of something you wish you could change.
My love of accessories and inability to edit. This is me on my way to Disneyland sometime in the 90's. Backpack, fanny pack, and watch....nobody told me this was overkill.

A picture of your day.
I googled "stress" and this is what came up. This looks nothing short of delightful but whatevs.

A picture of something that means a lot to you.
My girls/my ministry.

A picture of yourself and a family member.
My favorite picture of me and my mom.

A picture of something you're afraid of.
Marrying a man who wears these.

A picture that can always make you smile.

My head pasted onto anything.

Baby Javier. Shiny hair. Purple tunic. So precious.

A picture of someone you miss.

My grandpa. The greatest man in my family. I know grandparents pass away and that's just the way it goes....I just wish he hadn't gone before I realized how important my faith was to me. I'd give anything to have a conversation with him about his ministry and his time as a pastor.

Doneso, foo.
