Recently Tamera Mowry-Housley announced that she and husband Adam Housley are expecting their first child. Now it is revealed that the Sister, Sister and Tia & Tamera star is expecting a baby boy. Shortly after announcing her pregnancy she said that she was hoping to have a son, "I want a boy because I have two brothers whom I love and adore. I helped raise my brothers so I have somewhat of an experience raising boys."

Tamera's twin sister Tia is mom to son Cree Taylor, who will turn 1 this month, with Tamera's due date October 30th, this means that the boys will be close in age and hopefully will be great playmates.

Tamera Mowry is pregnant!

Sister, Sister star Tamera Mowry-Housley is expecting her first child. The actress told People Magazine, "Adam and I are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family an friends. We can't wait to meet this little miracle!"

Tamera, 33, and Adam Housley, 40, were wed in a ceremony last May. The actress and the National and International correspondent for FOX News initially said that babies weren't in their immediate future. However, during a trip to South Africa the newlyweds changed their minds. "It's just so beautiful there and you get a whole new perspective on life, the things that really matter. Adam and I looked at each other and said, 'Why wait?'"

The new addition to the Housley family is expected in early November. The Tia & Tamera star describes this time as the "happiest" of her life. "The first trimester was a little rough. I was extremely fatigued and had morning sickness - more like evening sickness. Luckily, it has subsided in my second trimester. I feel great as of now - more like myself."

The expectant parents are planning on finding out the sex of the baby and even though Tamera has a twin sister, she is hoping for a boy. "I want a boy because I have two brothers whom I love and adore. I helped raise my brothers so I have somewhat of an experience raising boys. I haven't the slightest idea about raising a girl. It's like the unknown." Twin sister Tia's first child, Cree Taylor, is a boy. Whether or not he'd like a boy or a girl as a playmate, I don't know.

For now, all Tamera wants is be the best possible mother to her baby. "I don't want to be too strict and I don't want to be too lenient. It'll be a balance. I also have to make sure I don't spoil my baby, because I naturally love to do so. I'll probably cry at everything - every mileston, every achievement. I hope I will be a great mom. Every mom-to-be says that and they say if you're thinking that you will be."

Tia Mowry and husband Cory Hardrict show off their pride and joy, their son, in the new edition of US Magazine. Tia and Cory welcomed son Cree Taylor Hardrict on June 28th.

"He's smiling, laughing and trying to talk," Tia says of her son. Tia, 33, gave birth to Cree, who weighed 8 pounds at birth, via C-section. "At night, [Cree] takes a bath with me, and we bond," Tia says of her favourite ritual. Another favourite is watching Battle Los Angeles star Cory, 31, with their son, "I love it when Cory sings to him. He makes up his own songs." Another person who's a big part of Cree's life? Tia's twin sister Tamera. Tia says, "I'll be breast feeding, and she will take him from me! She has 'auntie and me' time when she sits in the glider and puts him to sleep."

Tia Mowry talks about being a new mom

Life as a new mom is quite the change for Tia Mowry, as she tells BET.com "I didn't know I'd be this exhausted. I'm so sleep deprived. When I talk to other mothers about it they're like, 'Oh yeah, honey, and it doesn't change. Your body just gets used to it." That doesn't mean that Tia wasn't completely ready for the birth of her son, Cree Taylor, "I was told to be prepared for him to come before or after my due date. I was excited to get this baby out of me." Cree ended up coming five days before his due date. Tia says of motherhood, "It's a lot more emotional than I expected. I knew it would be emotional, but I didn't know it would be this emotional. People always say you never know love until you have your own child and all of that is true." So true, that she told her twin sister Tamera in the speech at her wedding, "that she needed to get on it. Now."

Balancing life as a new mom and returning to the set of The Game in September, might be very emotional and definitely more hectic, however, "he is definitely coming with me. I'm excited, but very nervous about how I'm going to balance things out, because right now I get no sleep and I'm gonna have to memorize lines. Lack of sleep and studying don't go hand in hand for me."
