What You Need To Know.

I haven't been in the mood to blog for a while. I can't seem to pull myself together long enough to organize my thoughts in a coherent manner.

Until I can clean up my act, here's a list of things you should know I experienced this week:
  • A large spider fell into my car Wednesday morning. I drove to work with all four windows down believing I could somehow blow it out. I don' t think it worked. I then spent the rest of the day obsessing over the ten thousand babies I'm certain this spider gave birth to in my back seat.
  • I attended three separate bridal showers in seven days. And some good friends of mine got engaged for good measure. One of these showers took place at my apartment. In an effort to mingle with my guests I decided to sit on the couch I'm allergic to. I've been paying for it ever since. Down feathers are manufactured in the pits of hell.
  • I judged a high school debate tournament this weekend. That crap was hard. I haven't felt that dumb in a while. But there was an endless supply of diet coke and cake donuts so it wasn't a total bust.
  • A man in a Walmart parking lot stood next to my driver's side window, lifted up his shirt, and rubbed his nipple at me. I don't know why but he seemed impressed with himself as I started laughing hysterically. Well played, my new friend.
  • I spent Saturday night napping on my couch. It was amazing. Then I moved the napping party to my bed where I slept another 8 hours. Then I came home this afternoon and napped some more. I either have a massive brain tumor or was in desperate need of rest. Based on the last few weeks I've had...I'm assuming it's the latter.
  • The holidays are approaching which means one thing to me: Bring on the peppermint. I have peppermint mocha creamer in the fridge and peppermint ice cream in the freezer. God bless us everyone.

And that's what you need to know.
