Excuses.

I'm a horrible blogger. For any of you reading this that is not news.

10 reasons why I haven't had time to blog lately:

1. I've been reading. I read to Kill a Mockingbird. Its the favorite book of both my sister and dear friend Beverly so I decided to give it a whirl. Great book! Read it now!! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll hate racism...its great!

2. I've been conducting research. You know that saying "_____ doesn't _____ itself." Well I'm putting the laundry/fold one to test. No dice yet.

Here's week 2

3. I've been hanging out on the east side again. I miss that place. Last week was VBS at niles so I partook (past tense of partake? I'm gonna call it good.) in some dancing to songs written and more importantly choreographed by a middle aged fancy man, yelling at Dave Comelli about my hatred of water balloons, complaining about the weird smell in the missions room, and most importantly getting kids excited about God.

4. I've been working. Have you ever seen a broad do a really good Christopher Walken impression? Me neither. So I've been working on that.

5. I've been discovering how great the Current channel is. Hour long documentary about mail order brides? Yes please! May I have another?

6. I've been listening to Manchester Orchestra. Because they're wonderful...that's why.

7. I've been joining a church. Yep. I'm a Hingepoint member officially! Happy day! Yesterday was our baptism. We ate, we laughed, we had cake, we welcomed people to the kingdom of heaven. What's not to like?

8. I've been watching Inception and drinking icees. In case you haven't heard, it's a thousand degrees outside and after 3 trips to 2 different theaters we were finally able to make this happen. I highly suggest you do it. That red icee was the greatest thing to happen to me all week.

9. I've been having reading dates with my frand Meggers. Delightful!

10. I've been catching up on old Friends episodes!! I haven't watched that show since it ended. Its my favorite ever!! I wanted to share a video but none of them will let me embed. No bueno. Youtube Ross' leather pants scene...you will not be disappointed.

Sun Set @ Sea

Burning sky - golden clouds - cool breeze, this is how an unusual sun set looks like at sea, the time was 7:30pm in the South Atlantic ocean, my ship was on its course towards Qua Iboa, Nigeria when I captured this stunning snap. This beautiful display of colors is very rare at sea, some people are very lucky to get a shot like this one, I cant believe my eyes even.
