Michael Phelps, 'Mystery Blonde' Megan Rossee make their debut as a pair ... - San Francisco Chronicle (blog site)

149918plsppss551.jpgLONDON — While Michael Phelps was making noise in the pool during the London Games, the most successful Olympian of all time kept details of his personal life quiet.

[ Photos: Michael Phelps' new girlfriend Megan Rossee ]

Now that he’s collected his swimming gold, it was time to show off another trophy at a Speedo event in London on Monday night:

That’s Megan Rossee, a 25-year-old cocktail waitress and model that Phelps, 27, began dating five months ago. He kept it on the down-low; anyone that follows her on Twitter knows she didn’t.

While he deferred on questions about his relationship during the London Games, Rossee was rather public about their affection via Twitter — with messages such as “good luck bear” before a race as well as, “This probably will get lost in your tweets but since i cant text i miss you and cant wait to spend time with you for real xo.”

(We’re no code-breakers, but that last one would seem to indicate they’re in a relationship.)

Rossee’s personal website crashed when it was revealed she’s the First Lady of American Swimming. (Sorry, whoever Ryan Lochte’s with today.)

Here’s her profile on Model Mayhem, in which she reveals “I am super easy going and pretty much down for any type of project (that doesn’t involve nudity).”

Such as this, for example:

A source told E! Online that “Megan and Michael have been taking things slow leading up to the Olympics, but they are excited to spend more time together outside of his training.”

She’ll no doubt miss their dates to Subway. That hearty Italian bread is magnificent.
